By arriving here, you’ve stepped onto a path that leads to profound transformation.

This retreat offers space to immerse yourself in depth and lightness, meaning and connection, beauty and joy.

Before this sacred journey begins, we just need to take care of a few details to reserve your spot.

We’ll walk through the registration and payment process together, step by step.

About Our Retreat Location
Natura Cottages and the Aspros Potamos region

Natura Cottages - a 10-minute walk from the heart of the picture graphic fishing village of Makry-Gialos & its sunny beaches - is a small village retreat, under the foothills of the famous gorge of Pefki, nestled on the hillside among olive groves, carob trees, and pine trees, tucked into a lush green garden, in an absolutely tranquil location, overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

There are two separate costs for this retreat: your lodging fee and your retreat fee.

Let’s start with the lodging first.​

🛏 About Lodging

 

There are 7 absolutely lovely cottages to choose from — each with its own bathroom and shower, kitchen, and a stunning courtyard. Some have a fireplace or bathtub (🛁✨).

​

Cottage pricing ranges from €753 to €1,383, depending on size and sleeping arrangements. You get to choose what feels best for you — or for your group.

​

You’re welcome to stay solo or share. When shared, the cost becomes lighter for each person.

If you’d like help finding cottage-mates, we’ll do our best to connect you with others who are also open to shared space, shared cost, and the kind of meaningful company that can grow through sharing a home away from home.

One person will reserve and pay for the cottage — even if it’s being shared. If others are joining you, we trust you’ll coordinate together about how to divide the cost and arrange reimbursement.

Whoever reserves the cottage will submit the full cottage payment here, along with their own retreat fee.

​

Others in your group will still register here and submit their retreat fee. They will also fill-in your name, the name of the cottage, and the option you chose.

Mpaksis Cottage (sleeps 1-2)

Mpaksis Cottage (25 m²) is laid out in an open plan with a double bed (that sleeps 1–2 people), and small sitting area with a fireplace for atmospheric nights. There is a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. Mpaksis offers direct access to a beautiful garden (shared between 3 cottages) with blooming flowers and hummingbirds, hammocks, sun beds, a monastery dining table, and a 6m x 5m wooden floor deck.

Kelari Cottage (sleeps 1-2)

Kelari cottage (18 m²) is laid out in an open plan with a double bed (that sleeps 1-2 people), a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower.  Kelari is the smallest cottage offered, cozy and comfortable, with a small window looking out onto a beautiful shared garden. It has direct access to a private veranda with a sitting area, as well as to a beautiful garden (shared between 3 cottages) with blooming flowers and hummingbirds, hammocks, sun beds, a monastery dining table, and a 6m x 5m wooden floor deck.

Charoupia Cottage (sleeps 1-3)

Charoupia cottage (35 m²) is laid out in an open plan with a double bed  (that sleeps 1-2 people),  a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a bathtub.  It is quite spacious and has access to our beautiful garden (shared between 3 cottages) with blooming flowers and hummingbirds, hammocks, sun beds, a monastery dining table, and a 6m x 5m wooden floor deck.

Bamboo Cottage (sleeps 1-3)

Bamboo Cottage (30 m²) is laid out in an open plan with a bedroom and a double bed, a living room with a built-in sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. Bamboo offers a unique private garden in a space right next to the cottage, with a hammock & sun beds. There is also a dining table with a view of the olive, pine, and carob trees that lead to the high mountains of the gorge of “Pefki” rising up behind you.

Potamos cottage (30 m²) offers a bedroom with a double bed leading out to the veranda, a living room with a small built-in sofa and a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a veranda with patio furniture and a Sea View. ​There is a dining table, surrounded by olive, pine, and carob trees, with a view of the Mediterranean only 900m away to the South, and the beautiful high mountains of the gorge of “Pefki” rising up behind you.

There is a dining table, surrounded by olive, pine, and carob trees, meeting the view of the Mediterranean only 900m away to the South, and the beautiful high mountains of the gorge of “Pefki” rising up behind you.

Skinos Cottage (sleeps 1-4)

Skinos cottage  (40 m²) offers one bedroom with a double bed, a living room with two built-in sofa beds, a fully equipped kitchenette (with a large oven), a bathroom with shower, and a private veranda with patio furniture. A large "Skinos" tree provides shade over the dining table for the warm days of peaceful Cretan summer. There is also direct access to our organic olive grove where you can take a “siesta” in a hammock that surrounds the cottages and the view of Pefki Gorge rising up to the north is magnificent.
